2. Data we process
When you visit this website, the following data is processed:
- Server log files: Your web hosting provider automatically stores access data (IP address, browser type, date/time, page visited). This data is technically necessary and is not evaluated by us.
- Page views (anonymous): We internally record which recipes are viewed (recipe ID, language, timestamp) — without IP address or personal data. Purpose: improving our content.
- Affiliate clicks (anonymous): Clicks on product links are logged internally (recipe ID, product, timestamp) — without personal data.
- Language preference cookie: A functional cookie (
sk_lang) stores your language preference (DE/EN) for 12 months. No tracking, no sharing.
3. Legal basis
Anonymous page view and click data is processed based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in improving our content. The language cookie is technically necessary (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
4. Amazon Associates
This website participates in the Amazon EU Associates Programme. If you click an Amazon link and make a purchase, we receive a small commission — at no extra cost to you. Amazon may set cookies and process data. Amazon's Privacy Notice applies.
5. No third-party tracking
We do not use Google Analytics, social media pixels, advertising networks or external fonts (beyond system font fallbacks). No data is shared with third parties except through the Amazon Associates programme.
6. Retention
Anonymous page view and click data is retained for a maximum of 12 months. The language cookie expires after 12 months.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability and object. As we store only anonymous data without personal reference, individual identification is technically not possible. Complaints can be directed to the relevant supervisory authority.
8. AI-generated content (EU AI Act)
Pursuant to Art. 50 of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), we disclose:
- Recipe photos: The food photos on this website were created using AI image generators and do not show real kitchens, people or dishes.
- Recipe text: Recipes and descriptions were developed using AI writing tools and editorially reviewed.
